Regent Jean Cabana
The author resides in New Orleans. He is married to a Brazilian, and they live in a century-old, raised basement house in the uptown neighborhood of Marlyville with Laola, their black German shepherd. The house withstood Hurricane Katrina. Régent traveled widely and published a book about his journeys around the world. He holds a Ph.D. in social sciences and is a student of world religions, psychology, and philosophy. He has had careers in diplomacy, education, and academia, teaching in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, as well as working as a consultant in international programs. He loves riding his bike and playing tennis.
